Counselling & Psychotherapy
Led by James Ingram, Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor MBACP
I offer professional therapeutic services from my warm and welcoming space in central Norwich, available both in-person and online. My counselling practice centres on genuine collaboration, authenticity, complete transparency, and unconditional acceptance. Through working together, you'll discover fresh insights and new perspectives on your experiences, empowering you to move closer to becoming your truest self and finding deeper meaning, purpose, and clarity about your identity.
Supporting You Through Life's Challenges
With extensive experience supporting individuals through life's most difficult moments, I specialise in working with adults facing depression, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness. I provide particular expertise in bereavement and loss in all its forms, helping clients navigate the profound impact of cancer and chronic illness on individuals and their families. My practice also encompasses complex family dynamics and relationship difficulties, sexuality and gender identity exploration, self-esteem and body image concerns, and addressing the lasting effects of past and present trauma.
I have considerable experience working with adults who have physical disabilities, hearing impairments, and those who are neurodiverse, including individuals with ADHD and Autism. My practice is wholeheartedly committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where every client can express their authentic self without fear of judgement.
Getting Started with Therapy
Your journey begins with a completely complimentary 30-minute telephone consultation, entirely without obligation. During this relaxed conversation, you'll explore what's brought you to seek counselling and discuss your hopes and expectations, whether you're looking for short-term focused work or longer-term support. I will explain my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you might have, allowing you to decide together, without pressure, whether you'd like to proceed.
Individual therapy sessions are Β£60. All sessions last 50 minutes, with fees payable on the day via BACS. Both telephone and video sessions are available throughout the week to accommodate your schedule.
